CHICAGO ON THE BIGGEST STAGE
Back for the first time since ‘88, NBA All Star Weekend served as the platform for us to
elevate the best that the Chicago community has to offer.
Jordan Brand transformed the historic General Jones on the south side of Chicago into HUB23, a community meeting point at the intersection of court, community, and culture. HUB23 housed the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) boys and girls basketball playoff games, the Chicago Collaborators Collection showcase, and a community creative workspace.
CPS playoffs is the biggest basketball moment in Chicago
For the first time ever the boys and girls playoff and championship games shared the same stage in front of a sold out crowd as they battled for the title of CPS champion.
Chicago Collaborators Collection
Inspired by the colors of Chicago's eight iconic train routes, the city's top influencers create their own collections by bringing the CTA to life.
Community Creative Space
Bringing together some of the top talent in the world with local Chicago youth proved to be a once in a lifetime experience. Zion Williamson played in a NBA 2K tournament with middle schoolers while also participating in a Q&A session. In the same space, Virgil Abloh (artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear) and Kim Jones (creative director of Dior Homme) led an apparel design workshop with up and coming Chicago artists and designers.
